ATIMONLAM is an acousmatic composition that aims to evoke an inner world that arises from the common experience of the present time, it is composed of three distinct parts. The first part describes the external world, of people and things, varied and full of contrasts, full of unanswered questions. The second part describes the inner world that pulsates and breathes, listens and answers. The third part is hidden, in apparent movement, abstract, accessible but impossible to describe in words. The composition makes use of sounds from the real world, all of which come from the same place, and are found objects that belonged to the same person, dear to the composer.
“This artistic work is dedicated to Chögyal Namkhai Norbu who taught me everything I know and everything I don't know, thanks to which I live a good life, and I am free.
I have impressed psychic energy in this artistic work to convey this knowledge of mine to the listener, perhaps first stimulating her curiosity, but then at a later time to create an imaginary world, transfigured in her mind that in the evolution of the musical gesture can converge towards the discovery of her own nature. As the sound is alive so is that world imagined by both the listener and the composer, beyond the words that might describe it, it exists, or better to say, it is present”.

Yeshi Namkhai is a composer born in Italy with training and working experience in photography, cinematography and IT for medium-sized businesses. Today he completes his training in electronic music at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music in Florence and composes music on the computer. He loves all forms of music, especially live ones and those that make you think and fully experience the present. He uses real-world sounds, synthesized sounds and musical instruments, collaborates with musicians, but does not use conventional or commercial technology, but rather creates them on the computer and brings them to life in specially created sound environments. In each composition he puts himself and all that he has learned about the world.
